Phlebotomy equipment is vital to your daily role and responsibilities as a phlebotomist. The most important part of doing any procedure is to gather all your equipment before and make sure you are properly prepared before you begin a procedure.
For this procedure as you can see in the video a butterfly needle will be used, a vacutainer, turnakit that will be applied to the patient, non sterile gloves that is important to our safety, alcohol swabs and a band aid. If your patient has a reaction to tap you should use coban wrap.
